Who we are

Meal Molecule is a healthy meal delivery service and app, based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Meal Molecule is an independent business and is not connected to any other business trading under the same or a similar name. This page covers mealmolecule.com and its dev and staging copies. The app, when it opens on 1 December 2026, will carry its own notice.

What we collect, and why

• Reserving a seat: the phone number you type, who you are (someone who wants the meals, a coach, a gym owner or a creator), the page the form was on, and the date and time. We also keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address to limit abuse — never the address itself. We use this to message you once when we open and to let the founder know a seat was reserved; the founder receives an email with your number. You give this with the form; nothing is collected without it.
• Calls and WhatsApp: your number and what you tell us, held on the business phone and WhatsApp account. WhatsApp’s own terms apply to the chat.
• Site analytics: we use PostHog to count pages viewed and which buttons were tapped — call, WhatsApp, a follow link, a form sent (never the number itself). Visitors stay anonymous: no session recordings, no profiles, no cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels. PostHog stores a small identifier in your browser so a visit is counted once, and processes the data in the United States.
• Hosting: the site is served by Cloudflare, which sees each request (internet address, browser type) to deliver and protect the pages, under Cloudflare’s own policy.
• The food-photo demo: a photo you upload is sent to our server and to an AI model provider to read the plate. The photo and its result are kept and shown in a public gallery on that page, so do not photograph people, documents or anything private. To have a photo taken down, email hello@mealmolecule.com with the link.

What we never do

• Sell or rent your data.
• Share it with advertisers, or run advertising on this site.
• Message you more than once before launch, or about anything but the launch — unless you ask.

How long we keep it

Seat reservations are kept until we have messaged you at launch and for as long as the founding-member programme runs, or until you ask to be removed. Analytics are kept only as long as we need them to understand how the site is used. Demo photos stay in the gallery until removed.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@mealmolecule.com or call +91 89310 28818; we answer within 30 days. If you are unhappy with the answer, say so and we will escalate it to the founder personally.

Children

The site and the service are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if a number reached us that way, tell us and it is removed.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and the seat list sits in a database only the team can reach. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong with your data we will tell you.

When this page changes, the review date below moves. The date is the record.
